Hey guys/maybe a few gal's.  Great community you all have here.

I have been using this forum for a few days now while rebuilding the Carb on my 1997 GS500ev.  It's been a fantastic help!  I had no idea the amount of following this bike had with it.

I just wanted to introduce myself a bit before I started to post some.

I'm an East Coast guy (Tennessee), and I'm a new rider (at the age of 25).  I don't have a license yet so it makes riding kind of restricted.  I mostly ride a downhill mountain bike and a fixed gear road bike around. lol.  I got a great (I think) deal on this bike, so I decided to give it a try.

Anyways,
thanks for the help thus far, and I look forward to posting maybe even meeting a few of you all.

BUT in teh right hands, it can sometimes out corner one ;) theyre fun, AND CHEAP to keep running.

Great!  I'm glad to see another GS owner in Tennessee.  I live out in West Knoxville.  Cedar Bluff and Kingston Pk.  You said something about motorized bicycles.  I have an old friend around here that tired his hand at doing that.  Had some pretty cool pictures of it.

I am sure I will be posting on here more and more about problems or concerns.  Everyone seems real helpful.  Which is great!

Thanks for offering your help, again.  It is much appreciated!  The community here seems very friendly.  Reminds me of the Subaru community. lol.
