So I bought a main wiring harness off ebay for my '91 GS500, and it appears it came off an early 2000 GS and there are some differences in the wire. One of which is the yellow block pictured above. The smaller one with less wires is on my Suzuki, the bigger one on the new harness. Also the black wire box in the headlight area is bigger on the newer harness, smaller on mine.
So ultimately my question is this, can I splice/switch the blocks and wires around to use this harness? Does it have everything I need? What wires do I need to change?
If there's a schematic for both the newer wiring harness and the older ones I might be able to figure it out, can anyone throw that up?
