I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these?
Well i got a front line yesterday, i didnt want a rear. Hopefully i can bleed/ install them without anything extra.
Let me know how it goes. Or better yet - a write up!
I am also looking to purchase ss front brake lines.
The wiki has a good instructional, but ill make a post anyway.
I put these on couple months ago, amazing difference. Used a Mityvac to empty and refill the brake fluid. Makes sure u also bleed the banjo bolts too or youll never get all the air out.
I know the mityvac is a great way to do this but I don't have one. Did I dream this or is there a way to put a rubber tube on there and submerge it in brake fluid as an air seal. Keep pouring in new to purge the old out. My fluid has got to be 8 years old and I will be doing this soon.
I have not had a bike with ss lines on it. Is the feel just more solid or less fade or ? Serious question...I don't really know.

How do you bleed the bolts? Wont they get bled as you do the whole system?

My brakes were still squishy after bleeding. you do the same steps as regular bleeding but instead of loosening the bleeder screw you crack open the banjo bolt and tighten it back up as soon as brake fluid starts coming out.
Ok. Im not quite sure what these banjo bolts are right now, but i guess i will find out...... Unless someone has a pic ;)

The ones that connect the brake line to the caliper and fluid reservoir. Just a heads up you will most likely receive the wrong banjo bolts from HEL, just reuse the original ones.
