There may be others and I'd love to hear it, but I've found Kenda tires work well on this bike for guys like me who don't push it. I get good tread wear and traction, although wet weather and pavement stripes are a little dicey. That's not a problem for me because I take it easy, especially when it's wet. To me a tire that lasts and doesn't cost a lot is best. Your experience may differ. All warranties expressed or implied are void. My advice is free and is sometimes worth what it costs. Offer void in Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
I agree, I have no complaints at all with the two or three sets I have had on other bikes, I've only got 5000 miles on my GS so far and haven't had to replace the stock tires yet.
I got 15,000 miles outta my Bridgestone stock tires! At the end there were a couple of :icon_eek: moments so I got the same ones just a bigger back tire!

How did you fit a bigger tire? Did you use the instructions on the wiki?
You would have to ask OCD he sent me the 150 that way but it is on the stock rim !
