Title: GS500 Color Update
Post by: loco on August 29, 2010, 02:14:59 PM
Okay I have the lettering complete and the final paint coat complete on one side panel.  I still need to color sand the panel and put the clear coat on, but I am pleased with the color selection.

Here is before.

The base coat.

and the final product

I went with the dark red for the lettering so I'm not in such a rush to paint the wheels.

Is it grey or flat black?  I know the clear will make it come to life pretty good.  Keep posting pics up!

It's more of a gray with a bit of flake.  I'm going for the subtle look on the bike.

I will probably mix more flake in the clear coat.
