I wish I'd had training wheels when I first started out.  :icon_lol: :icon_razz:

If one had to use training wheels when it came to motorcycles, I should suspect that you wouldn't need them by the time one is ready for an R1

At least I don't do that every 10 minutes anymore.  :icon_mrgreen:

P.S. There's a reason it's been called "pandying your bike" around here.

To be fair, I think that's a jackstand with wheels, for moving the bike around.  Those wheels don't look like anything that would be expected to hold together on the road or hitting a speedbump.

But I do know some footdraggers who could use training wheels!  :whisper:

There is a guy over on fireblades who is an ex racer, he had a bad wreck which left him a paraplegic that has a retractable landing gear set for his track bike so he can still ride track days.

Say hello to the Mono Tracer

The outrigger wheels Deploy - quickly - when the bike speeds drops below a certain speed. So the Rider can stay inside while stopped at the lights. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jA1YhFeWxR8

That looks like fun, motorcycle riding, but with safety features. I'm sure you could fit some airbags in there.

I'm sure I would rather take my chances flying off a regular bike than being trapped inside of the thing in a collision.  Scary.  :nono:

I've watched a couple of those vids now and I've got to say, doesn't look as stable as they try to make it out.
