well as some might remember I posted about possibly selling the gs to buy a 636. Well I finally did it, the gs is sold and title is transferred  Now I'm $3500 richer but alot of GS poorer. Honestly it hurt me to see her go but I love to watch her leave. Now I can get my new 636 :woohoo:
I still feel like I have betrayed an old friend.
Nice price on the sell. You said you were grabbin the 636 for 4g? Good luck....post up some pics of that ride.
636!! Let's see it!
Did you direct the new owner to this place?

Yup, I dont think he has joined yet. I work with him though so I will bug him until he does. Also because I work with him I should still see the gs pretty often because he intends to ride it most every day.
3500! jeez thats not too far off a new one
Mine blue booked for $2700 then there was $1200 in mods, but I knew no one would pay full price for mods. Also If I couldn't sell it for $3500 I would have just kept it. Honestly you couldn't even create a copy of the bike for that money, mainly because of the dyno tuning, If We didn't have a dyno at my work I would have had to spend another $300 doing a full dyno tune.
So he actually got a good deal.
Hey just to let you guys know the guy who bought my bike is now a member here, his screen name is spartacus.
Any update on the 636?

yes, its stupid fast. I love it but I do miss my super light gs500f. the 636 is only 430#ish wet whereas my gs was 410# (I had lightened it significantly) so the 636 is only 20# heavier but it feels like 50. But I should get used to it.
You'll definitely get used to it. you're most likely feeling the difference between the clipons and wider tires, and not actually the weight of the bike. Once you get used to throwing your weight around instead of steering it'll all feel normal again.
