This is what I do in my spare time:

We've got 3 dogs, so they take up a good majority of our free time. They're good company though. Other than that. I've always been into bicycles since I was a kid, but I'm currently on a down spell and am kinda tired of them at the moment.
Here's the 3, we've got a pit/plott hound, a black lab, and a pit/black lab, and they're currently hogging the couch as I type this...

This is the current bike, took me a while to track down one of these framesets....

I know this isn't really all that much different from a motorcycle, but this is one of my wife's main hobby. She brought this one home for me last summer in pretty rough shape so I spent last winter fixing it up. I only had it out for a couple rides before it stopped working, and I didn't put too much into fixing it considering her moped nights were the same as bike nights, but hopefully this winter I'll get it running well so I can get out with her more next year. It's a 1977 Tomos A3sp, bumped up to 70cc with a new carb, intake and exhaust and a completely rebuilt motor. Fun to ride when it's actually working.

We also bought a house 3 years ago, so I spend some time working on that. My favorite part of it is fixing up the old city dungeon of a basement and trying to make it look pretty decent. I put up the walls and pegboard, next is a real floor and then some nice work benches. I know it's a huge mess in the picture.

OH man!
I love labs!
I actually love it when they push you off the couch its hilarious!
Ahaha great stuff man :thumb:
I'm a gamer. Luv my PS3 I used to cycle as well but my heart just doesn't like it that much anymore. I'm also going back to school so time is cut down. I also volunteer at my church. It's a good feeling helping others in need.

God I would love to take up parkour, that would definitely get me in shape, but I don't know where to start.
But as for a contribution to this thread: in my spare time I fly planes
Ahhh, I actually just sold my ps3, wasn't getting enough use out of it.
Ill probably get another one when they get some good games for the motion sensor stuff.
And man, parkour is the perfect sport. Its easy to start out, and its almost like jogging when you get the flow of it, everything just comes together. Its more a mind game than a physical one. ;)
I just need to find more of an industrial type place because around where I live there are only houses. Maybe I could get away with running on people's houses closer to Christmas though...

AHAHA, thats beautiful!
And man, all you need is a picnic table! Thats all, vault that sucker.
Being doubled over in pain looks like for this year.
I also like listening to some cool audio crap while screaming in pain.
I'd rate being unemployed also right up there.
Cool.
Buddha.

Still got to get over that "Oh shaZam! I'm going to fall" instinct...but I don't have anything to do tomorrow I'll give it a try
Ya man, for sure!
This is my first month about 3 years ago now:

Bicycling! I love riding and also am a huge fan of the European Pro scene. When I can make it happen, I also love snow skiing.

Sorry bro, but that was completely irrelevant and pointless, there ain't no traceurs who aren't tough and willing to get hurt for it.

I didn't understand any of that.
It's all French to me (literally - i googled it).
But tt_four: that Tomos is sweet. A friend of mine has a thing for small bikes which is funny since he's 6'4". He has a Puch Magnum with a Honda racing tank and clip ons as well.

Mary
I am a gamer as well, Xbox, PS3, PC, even the occasional Wii game :technical:
If anyone else wants to play, hit me up.
I'm a gearhead and a marksman. My current car project is a 1962 Pontiac Tempest, and I have a basket case Yamaha Virago XV535 to work on too. I shoot competitively in some local matches and handload ammunition too.
Toogoofy is my PS3 gamer tag. send me an invite! Thinking about getting Medal of Honor today!

My stupid Land Rover takes up a ton of time. Nothing's ever complicated, but damn if the Brits can't make plastic rust too!!
I don't shoot competitively, just like I refuse to test for belts in Krav. That's not why I'm there. That said, I can 1.5" group my EDC at 7yds and a buddy of mine that's a 3rd degree Tai Kwan Do black belt refuses to spar with me.

Not only can they make plastic rust... but Lucas electrics are simply the WORST!
Of late I am seeing and finding problems in a lot of day to day items.
There is a whole industry - literally employing 1000's just in charlotte on what can at best be called "middle manning" - Like why do we need a temp agency. Yea they have quick employees you need one tommorow, they could find one for you. Except They dont have these people that work for em, they just have contact numbers that they got by "phishing". Like go on dice and post an ad for a "accountant" with some made up requirements. Some poor sucker is bound to respond. Get his contact info and maybe a short chat with him and hold on to it. Then when a company needs an accountant, or 20, you can claim I got 20 accountants and you send these people. Waste of everyone's time and $. I dont see why the company tha tneeds the acountant cant do the same thing.
Worse yet, we outsourced the manufacture of crap to china. So with that have we outsourced the design and everything as well. I took this blooming VCR back to walmart a few days ago. Who uses a VCR any more ... OK OK fine, but this bloody thing had the cable jack - the threaded type, so close to the center kick out tha tyou can thread the thing in if your fingers were the size of a 4yr old. Only my 7yr old son's fingers were not strong enough to thread them in, they have to be adult strength, but sized like a kid. AKA an adult chinese guy ... WTF ... what is next - "extra large" shirts that choke an american adult, extra large adult pants that kids wear ... size 18 shoes an adult cant fit into ...
Here is my next favorite. Pants that have pockets that go just short of the crest of your legs. You put stuff in your pockets and as you walk, sit etc, they slide under your legs/butt. Lovely, you're sitting on your keys. Fantastic. The extra 1 inch of fabric would have cost 30 c, instead you are stuck with pants you cannot wear comfortably. This is a recent phenomenon. I got pants I bought in 03-04 that have pockets that go over the crest of my legs. They dont drop the things under my legs. But newer crap is worse.
Cool.
Buddha.

That's a lot of extreme stuff...keeps you in shape though...the only thing I could do out of that (right now) is the extreme three wheel scooter, but I would have used a bigger sledge :icon_twisted:...that and the frame of the thing would have bent if I tried "hopping" like you did  (was that you in the vid?)
Good on ya for staying active...I've gained 100lbs since I was 18, so you know I'm not the most energetic guy out there...I've decided to learn guitar over the winter, learn to skate (again, "I used to could, and I might could again..."), take out the bicycle again in the spring (I'll have to dust it off since I didn't take it down this summer) and of course touring on my bike...
Here's a couple of pics of me this summer getting back on the bike and heading home from camping...the wife and kids were in the SUV with the dogs...my way is better...lol

As you can see, I could get out and move more...
Later.
Buddah touches a note re Chinese crap...the cheap, crappy hardware just about took over the stores here in Oz....reality now is, the stuff is still crap but the prices are jacking up with no local competition. Thank Gawd for my 25-year collection of nuts, bolts and brackets!!!!
(Altho, I have to be fair and say I was gobsmacked in Bunnings (big hardware chain here) recently..bought a cheap plastic container for the kitchen, got it home, and to my utter amazement, yes, MADE IN THE USA!!!!...you beauty!! There's hope yet.....)
Oh, as well as the GS, fiddling with other machinery and the garden, plus our two bullmastiff boys keeps me under control.
I have 2 kids that never leave my side....apparently they like me for some reason. once I can get some personal space, I play guitar, tinker with cars and motorcycles, surf the poop outta the internet and occasionally I play hockey. then you throw work on top of it and I have 0 time to just sit around and do nothing.
Speaking of free running... man, this guy is Good... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MeiwLLZjDo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MeiwLLZjDo)

When I'm not riding my 600cc Yamaha Diviersion (SECA II in the US) for weekend runs, I'm into playing electric guitar and electric bass (and teaching myself alto sax when I can be bothered getting it out of the case!). I used to play bass in pub bands in the eighties in London (strictly amateur I must add). Now all I do is lock myself away from the wife and kids for an hour or so, pour myself a scotch and coke, put a record on and play either bass or guitar along to a record! For bass, I'm currently into Snow Patrol and U2 (great riffing bass - quite easy to learn and play). For guitar it's mainly Tom Petty, Dire Straits, ZZ Top and Pink Floyd. It's like playing 'air guitar' for real ! :D
Bassman
I'm sure many of you guys would wanna see my boobs LOL!
OMG I am so freaking addicted to COD Black OPS. I dunno but the release of steam when you nail a guy in the head with a crossbow laced with exploding tips is very satisfying :icon_twisted:
But, school is taking the priority I'm 3/4 of the way through statistics have a "B" and is the last class for my AA! It has only taken me 8 years to piece together a degree from all of the "careers" I've started and my cardiologist put the ax to. Now I'm going for a degree in Psychology next semester should be at UCF for the BA then if all goes according to plan Miami for my Masters!

Eating is a hobby of mine, since I enjoy venison that leads to hunting. Shooting as well unlike SPC I enjoy the tactical rifle matches we have available in our area, SWAT I am not though, you don't want to be the hostage if I have to shoot the bad guy, although the hostage target usually survives with just a flesh found. ALA keanu reeves in speed. about 10% of the time I clip the no shoots on hostage stages.
Sex yeah that's another hobby, thankfully one of my wifes interests as well :woohoo:
Can't do the martial arts anymore, osteoarthritis puts a real damper on that, what sucks is it's cutting into shooting now as well.
Hobbies... hmmm working on the project car, reading, writing (one day I'll even get published), Tae Kwon Do, riding/driving, doing stuff around the home does that count?
Now that I've seen Parkour I'm thinking my new sport for next year is going to be that. Thats unreal.
