Item has expired.
They may have been on a GS, but they are not factory originals.

That's what I did when I used mine. I took an extra top clamp and cut/ground it down. Wasn't perfectly flat, I got lazy, but still the intention was there.

What's funny is I have a set of these sitting in my garage I just took off. Thought about selling them, but I hope I can get more than twenty bucks out of them...
Yo reajax,
Just a suggestion...
You don't have to request a deletion for topics here. Even when they run their course, all topics are a good thing to have here on the board so that people can search and still find answers to issues they are having.
Even this thread was useful for those looking at clip-ons, and even though the ones you pointed out on eBay weren't OEM GS500 1989 units.
So next time, don't ask for it to be deleted.
Now you've left a thread here with big gaps in info because of the details that you deleted and no one will know what was here. :)
Best wishes,
Trwhouse
I put this up here as an FYI that there was a set of aftermarket clip-ons going cheap. There was really no value to it after the item was no longer available. There was no knowledge base that required tending. It simply needs to be allowed to die.
Thanks for the look out though.
It may not seem valuable, but people like to see what used to be available, what the price was, what people thought of it, etc. Any tidbit can be of use to someone. Please leave postings.
Plus, late at night when there's nothing on TV, its nice to read old postings. I've learned a lot by reading old stuff.
It is far more frustrating to see all the "deleted" than to read out dated information.
