I was moving my bike into the garage tonight...started it up, let it warm up for a few minutes (but was still on choke). I had the clutch fully in, but whenever I shifted into gear it stalled out. It's probably something I was doing, but just curious if this is indicative of some other issue.
check the sidestand safety switch
Ah yes, I believe the kickstand may have been down. I also didn't realize the kill switch was engaged when I first tried to start it. Off to a great start... :embarrassed: At least I can duckwalk the thing from the alley to the garage...got that going for me.
Also... if it's still cold but not on the choke and idling fair-ish and you put it into gear, it may stall. In which case, a few higher revs As you put it into gear, just to stop it stalling, and you're good to go.
So. Now you know the Kill Switch and the Sidestand Switch. Now be ware of the Clutch Idiot Switch which won't even let you start the bike in neutral without the clutch in.
