Yes - brand new in the factory box. Never used. You'll need to add fuel petcock, fuel cap and seat bracket.
This so rare - a brand new old stock never used E model fuel tank. Perfect condition. Paint it if you want (just don't tell me, I hate to see factory originals in perfect condition get painted)
As you can see, it still has the factory tape on the fuel inlet and has the black rubber trim on the bottom edge.
I found 2 different ones in Germany. The other one goes on Junior this week so this one is for sale. $500 shipped UPS ground to continental USA. Other areas, ask for shipping quote. I think price and shipping ran me close to $600 but the garage is getting too full of extra parts. Got to clean it out for the winter.

Do you have the Suzuki part number for that tank? It looks like a stock 1992 USA model tank, but I'm not sure.
If it is a 1992 tank, I think the part number is 44100-02D00-28V; does that match yours?
If not, what is the part number for that tank? Again, I'm only curious, can't afford a new tank...

I'd have to look but that probably is it. It is a brand new old stock I found in Germany along with the 1994 tank I'm going to use. Irt is not some aftermarket tank that was painted. Its the real thing.
UPDATE: That tank is in the box and kind of buried so I didn't get the part number as I was in a rush to get Junior to Aurora Suzuki for a full tune up, wheel swap and tank swap. Since I had the tank out that is going on Junior, for what its worth, in the original box with original Suzuki part tag it is 44100-101dN0-19a (yes, 19A is candy antares red 1994) The other one is the lighter red color 28V and as I recall it is a 1992.

I'm confused. What year and color is the tank that is for sale? I have 1990 California model so I was wondering if this would fit? Also is the pink stuff stickers or paint?

In the original Suzuki box.
Being the old style tank, will fit any bike 1989-2000.
As with all Suzuki tanks, they are first painted the base color (28v) then stickers applied. That follows with a thick, heavy clear coat.
Ready to go as is. If you want to paint it, per normal painting instructions, you'd have to sand lightly to get the shine and any wax off and smooth down the slight edges of the stickers. The clear coat is heavy, but if you just painted it you'd be able to detect the stickers in your finish. Even if it was paint, because it is extra layers, there is unevenness at the edges that would show through if not sanded first. Anyway, you'd have to lightly sand for new paint to stick. Remember the clear coat is pretty impervious to oil and fuel.
I repeat that this is a factory original tank. Never used. Never out of the box except for a photo. Original masking tape still covers the fuel inlet. The other tank 4410-01dno-19A is at my dealer to go on Junior (they were very impressed to see a brand new tank from 1994, and thought the Gimbel seat, rear sets, R&G bar ends and tor guard were simply awesome!)
Albert: if you're talking about the white with blue pin striping, no. For 1989 I have the black with the red and silver stripe.
Some of mine are European so they also have "slingshot" along with the GS500E logo. There were other blue ones. If you can point me to a photo of what you want, I can see if I have it.
The 92 tank is the only one for sale. There is a 1989 black one with red and white pin stripes on ebay. I think it is in the UK.
No No No I want 100% OEM. Like I said I have California stock bike. Tank is clean as the day I bought it but according to research it is smaller? Looking for something that is OEM for a 1990 non-California spec understand?

Never mind. Its an original Suzuki tank in the original box with the original part number. It is not a California tank. It is a GERMAN OEM tank.
I have no idea how much more OEM you can get. I've described it and you have the part number from the box. There is a picture of it. Everyonbe knbows how Suzuki makes tanks and that they use stickers and a clear top coat. All you have to do is look at a tank to know that.
You either want it or you don't. I have nothing more to say about it. I don't know what you really want, so please find a used tank somewhere else. You're taking the fun out of selling things to GS members, just like you took the fun out of the picture game.
I'll pull all sales in a couple days and put things on ebay. Its less hassle than dealing with you.
