Title: Love fall riding
Post by: fraze11 on October 25, 2010, 05:55:45 AM
My buddy and I went for a ~300km ride on Saturday, I have to say riding in the FALL is probably my favourite time of the year to ride!

I went for a nice ride yesterday, but I can't say fall is my favorite time of year. Those leaves all over the road definitely take away a little bit of enjoyment for me.

Yesterday the icefog was turning all the branches of the trees white...very pretty, but man was it cold with the high humidity...I'm gonna try to get another ride in on this Saturday, hopefully it doesn't snow tonight...it hasn't been getting above freezing the last couple of days...

Maybe it's time to buy a quad...lol

Later.

Yeah the Fall is definatley pretty here on the East Coast. But as tt_four said that means lots of leaves on the road too. I know the bikes sure enjoy the cool weather. Those sure are some pretty pictures you guys put up!

I'm in Southern Ontario (Canada) and it has been unseasonably mild here but its starting to drop faster now temp wise. The day we went on the above ride it was about 17 degrees out. Leaves really started dropping over the past week tho.  I *might* get out again this weekend but the long term forecast is looking worse and worse...winterizing my bike might be happening sooner than later. Booooo...oh well, that just means I have this to look forward too;

I ride mostly year round. I like the fall because of the changing colors. you definitely gotta watch the leaves tho, they can be slippery.
