One of the many reasons I'll never be able to afford more than a Ducati Seat....

LOL, that's why your are on a GS page not a Ducati page but we can all dream right? Honestly though, I love the style and sound of every Ducati I have ever seen....I am more then happy with my little GS.
Ya, you'll have more "fun per dollar" on a GS anyway.
A good friend of mine has a Monster. It's impressive, but I would rather have 4 cheaper bikes.
that's because it's a race spec desmodicci. you should see how much money the navy spends on hardware for their aircraft. monster's aren't that expensive. I had one and loved it.
Cool article.
Japanese Steel.
You won't need to buy the bolts if you buy the bike unless you are racing that bike for real. And if you are doing that you don't have to ask how much it costs.
Older monsters are in the upper 2k lower 3k price range near Boston. Nice looking clean ones. Thats not so far from GS500f prices.
Nah, you're just being hard on yourself. I paid more for my GS than this guy wants for his Ducati....

and just for the record, I'd jam a home depot 99cent-er in the connecting rod so fast it wouldn't even be funny. :cookoo:
oops don't let Sirnath hear you say that!
One of the V8 Supercars broke a Special Bolt a few years back. Titanium-Unobtanium-Whateverium. That bolt was made specially. Cost = $30,000! :o
No pics. So, consider the above input worthless :flipoff:
