Title: They stole my idea...sort of
Post by: seamax on November 03, 2010, 07:59:57 AM
The new Ducati Diavel with it's body integrated turn signals is like my rear body integrated turn signals. I've also been working on front integrated fairing signals too but was going to put them on this winter.

Anyways it looks like a monster to ride.

I love it when people "steal" my idea ...

BTW have any of y'all noticed McDonalds has of late got sweet tea that is made and put in the fridge in the back, and runs hoses to the old style dispensers ... and its nto @ all, but they are all converting ... I complained to them for 2 years, especially the extra bad ones, where the bloody tea would be hot and watery to begin with ... You complain to them they give you a free some or other ... I usually get coffee ... usually I say your tea was so bad I started drinking coffee ... or no sense complaining about tea and getting more of it is there ... and I dont drink soda, I get heartburn ... so on ...

Complain more ... in fact I wish there was a complaints department for the idiotic pants they are selling where pockets are not wide enough to get over the crest of your leg ...

Also plastic spoons of late, seem to be too tightly curved that you cant eat wihtout flipping it upside down in your mouth ... y'know like your mama told you not to ... if you dont do that it tears your mouth up. Worthless design by Idiots who eat with chop sticks. Much like we got bikes designed by Idiots who ride the train. I wonder who I can complain about that to.

Cool.

None of it is as bad as Can-am stealing the idea for the spyder. Someone came to them with a design for one that he was making from snowmobiles, they turned him away, and then started pumping them out shortly after.  :dunno_black:

Anyway, I don't have anything bad to say about the Ducati, but the look definitely isn't doing it to me. You guys might think it looks like a monster on steroids, I think it looks like a monster on a few too many roast beef sandwiches. Maybe it just needs time to grow on me. I can see how it would appeal to the V-max crowd, but I'm not too crazy about the style of the V-max either.

In mason city @ the McD on main street was where the right rear tar on the VW blew ... rather It blew somwhere in the last 20 miles, I spotted it there, the tar store was right 1/2 mile up the road. Fixed up ... till the other one blew 300 miles later in Indianapolis. Then I had to replace both rear tars ... Those buggers were 100 years old and meant to go on a 1500 lb car ... mine was pushing 5 ton prolly cos its filled wiht motors and carbs and assorted junk.

McRib - man they couldn't give that away ... bones made of meat ... what sorta animal does that ...
Kidding ... I know the bones aren't meat, they make them in a factory with bread and corn ...

BTW I almost never get heartburn from McD. the whole drive over and back to west coast I ate McD's and went right to sleep. The 1-2 times I ate Taco bell or other, it was a nightmare.

Man this thread went off topic....but for some odd reason my body still craves taco hell. I think it is because of my college days when we would be up late and that was the only cheap joint that was open after midnight and I love the cheese, if you can call it that, for their nachos. Taco Hell Make a Run for the Sh!tter.
