I did, but I ran across a 2003 with 4K that will cost me another grand if I can sell it for 1300. Something about the F's I like.

Oh trust me if It doesn't go by the first of the year it'll still be under my butt come spring. Heck I just got done repainting the tank and plastics next is frame. I'll keep right on going. (Nothing wild just back to black. Cleaning up the scratches) Still need to order new decals.

Ahh, good to know.  Yeah I like my naked bike, but the fairings really make it a bit sexier O0 . I wish I could've scored a 2004 yellow F version prior to my 99 yellow naked version. *drooollllssss*

Its one of those opportunities that you just have to take the chance. But, I highly doubt I'll ever fall out of love with my little GS500. You'll be seeing me for quite some time. Currently I'm working on a whole new project. I picked up a XJ550 and its getting turned into a soft tail bobber. Craziest thing is, it still caries so GS500 in it. I modified it to fit the swing arm and axle. I call it my "Yamazuki Deere" So far it's Yamaha Suzuki and John Deere.

I'm trying to get my friend to start riding. Where in Ohio? Like a zip code so you don't have to give the address. I'd be coming from Clarksville, TN. Thanks.

Hey Anaconda! I finally have all the pieces. Guess shes going to have to get a full repaint and tank and plastics. Then I'm going to bag the engine and shoot the frame. She'll be ready to ride, even if it's not me in the saddle. Just thought you'd like to know.
