Filmed riding along a little-used back road to the falls. The road is narrow in places, has no stock fences so cows and other livestock are always on the mind, has numerous floodways and cattle grids, a steep incline with some very sharp switchbacks which is diminished with the wideangle lense. And some bloody awesome scenery which can go from rainforest to open to woodland in the blink of an eye.
I did see two deer as I came to the second flooded floodway, but they were just out of camera range. Thankfully they bolted into the bush as they heard the engine braking.
Anyway. Enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwWIrwPgtLo

One and the same. I guess the cow scratching his neck on the sign post gives it away, huh? And now you can see how I Blew that corner - the way the vegetation was Cleared I had thought the road went left hehe.

My previous vid - My Barney Revisited - covers this road and was also on the same ride as above - it was our homeward leg while this vid was our outbound leg.
Obi Obi is closed due to roadworks.

The route for the above vid was this route (http://www.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Yamanto,+Queensland,+Australia&daddr=Boonah,+Queensland,+Australia+to:-28.1260658,152.6210653+to:Spring+Creek+Rd+to:Urben+St+to:-28.2507593,152.7923535+to:Boonah+Rathdowney+Rd+to:Boonah,+Queensland,+Australia&hl=en&geocode=FWjuWf4dLJwaCSmHpfdJ_8qWazEwn97zWqMCBQ%3BFWDLVP4d-74ZCSlrjvVD09eWazEg3SB_8e4ABA%3BFY_UUv4dCdAYCSlfezsLbiWXazGhP29Y8e4AEw%3BFcGJT_4d_QAVCQ%3BFZ2NTf4dFrQXCQ%3BFXntUP4dIW0bCSkbno2wETOXazGxWGJY8e4AEw%3BFYaYUf4denUbCQ%3BFWDLVP4d-74ZCSlrjvVD09eWazEg3SB_8e4ABA&mra=dpe&mrcr=1&mrsp=2&sz=13&via=2,5&sll=-28.103935,152.643528&sspn=0.122349,0.222988&ie=UTF8&ll=-28.070769,152.679749&spn=0.979083,1.783905&z=10). This vid was filmed between Boonah and The Falls.
The Mt Barney Twisties vid was shot between D & E (After Woodenbong which is after D).
I think a more Entertaining run leaving Boonah would be via Lake Moogerah - even make that a first brief stop after Yamanto instead of Boonah. The roads around Moogerah are more fun :icon_mrgreen:
To see how the bikecam differs, here's some shots from the First time I rode that road a couple of years ago. Just me, bike and camera.
1:20 in the vid

Looking back at The Grid from Rock Cutting around 4:50 in the vid (while I was taking a photo of the cutting I heard bikes, turn and took the shot as they came through).

A section of the road between Floodways

Part of the road after the cows (didn't show this in the vid as the wideangle lense doesn't do it justice)

After my Whoops when I'm riding the ridgeline and then the road gets a line mark 9:45-> in the vid, this is the view to the right. Notice the mountain from this pic to the previous one from in the valley.

And there is hardley any traffic on the road at all :thumb:

Got to watch the Mt Prosper vid for some of that ;) And of course, the white lane passing on the Mt Barney Twisties Revisted one. :thumb: Plus, with people behind me I cannot go roaring off at 120 leptons and expect them to follow suit and risk it otherwise they are left behind lost.
:whisper: Don't tell anyone... but some of that road is only 60 not 100, sshhh. Just between us, ok?
