sorry gotta update this alil. i was looking at it and i think the bars are done for but im not 100% sure. but clamps and mounts are good. make an offer. there are a few parts i may trade for. cafe fairin, newer style head light, newer tail light, lowering links, 7/8 bars sorta like a cruisin style maybe some others. some parts with a couple bucks on top.
Yea, those bars are hosed. Impossible to properly straighten them out.
What do you need and for the 89 or the 06? I've got lots of stuff laying around. Lots of tails in assorted colors for the 89; Clear Alternatives integrated tail light for the 06; Maybe one for the 89 (at least the clear lens); pegs; levers; about every screw, nut, axle; fenders; cables; and etc. etc. etc.
I'd be interested in your clip ons only because I don't have a 1989 USA set in my collection. I have the 2 types that were sold in Canada and Europe through 2000.
im looking for a fuel cap with key, some handle bars with more rise and more pull back then stock, lowering links, i know there's something else i need but i can't think of it right now. whats the difference between the us clip-ons and the European?
The clips are different so the bars are at a slightly different angle both in & out and up & down. The 1989 model was the same everywhere. Then starting in 1990, in the US they switched to the standard bars. Canada and Europe continued with 2 different styles of clip-ons until 2000 (or 2001) and also offered standard bars.

I can trade a new gas cap with key. However the key won't match your other key. I'm not sure what is involved in re-keying. I bought it then decided to spend the extra for a cool keyless gas cap (don't have a problem here of people stealing gas - at least where I go and park).
