One of the tabs broke off on my headlight so I'm looking for a replacement. Is this one any good, and will it take an H4 bulb? If not, any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Should fit.
Note the ad says it is NOT DOT approved. That means it could be of inferior light output or light distance and beam width from what the DOT requires.
It is plastic, not glass. Does not include mounting brackets. H4 bulb? unknown but might melt it since it is plastic - not metal and glass.
Does it have high/low beam? It doesn't say.
Why buy a cheap one then buy an H4 bulb when for a few dollars more you can get this one?

I'd pay the extra and buy a DOT approved one or buy a used one from someone here on the board or ebay.
What tab broke? Maybe you can just get that part here from someone or from ebay. Plenty of bikes being parted out.
^ What adidasguy said remember almost any sidemount 7" headlight round or rectangular
will work. I had to replace mine got one from a 86'gs550 works perfect dot approved cheap.

Nope, not H4. And Adidas is right, an H4 would probably melt it.
I bought new headlight for Junior here:

Nice, because it is metal, H4 halogen and has a running/park light (required in Europe but not in the US). Costs a little more, but I felt it was worth it. Also is E approved (the European version of DOT).
Got his smoke LED tail light and smoke turn signals there, too.
