That's some scary shaZam!! :o
I'm glad you're okay. Did the driver acknowledge what they did?
did the driver stop.. did you get info?
hope your okay?
it's good you're ok. how's the bike?
we pulled over and everything, i checked my bike and it did nothing to it and i went up to him and hit him in the face with my helmet! just playing. i confronted him and told him he could have killed me and what not and he was really sorry, his truck was blocking traffic and me nor my bike was hurt so i told him to just go. I think he learned his lesson. that was the first day of riding my bike with my new yosh and jetted carbs with a k&n. hopefully tomarrow is better :thumb: ,

That sucks man. :x
Legalise, lane shareing!! Otherwise, I can never ride outside of Cali.
Sorry to hear that, but you really need to watch your mirrors when you are stopped. Plan your exit strategy (between cars, onto the shoulder, etc.) before you stop the bike and be ready to execute. I never put my bike into neutral until at least two vehicles are stopped behind me. It sucks that we have to be responsible for this, but sitting at a stop light is a pretty dangerous situation for a motorcyclist, don't let anyone get the chance to hit you. Brakelight modulators can help, but you shouldn't rely on those anymore than assuming other motorists will drive properly.
Lane splitting up to the front eliminates a number of these opportunities, but sadly is illegal outside of CA in the US.
Jeez.. that sucks. I'm glad to hear you and your bike are both ok. If that happened to me, even if there were no damage to me or the bike I would probably still be filing an insurance claim for a new pair of pants :nana:
Oh boy... I learned my lesson... Never play with semi!!
Sounds like you handled yourself cool. If it were me it could have gotten rated R real quick. I would have been on the war path :guns: . But really, my G.dad is a trucker and he says that you can fit an entire car in front of you and he would never see it. Next time a trucker gets that close I wouldcreep up as far as I could to the car in front of me and/or go beside them, even if it is illegal, it could save your rear.
Sounds like it's worth a beep and a wave when a truck's behind you. Good to know. Glad you're alright man.
