So I was out riding the other day enjoying the nice weather and the bike decided to not start in the middle of the ride. Got it running with a bump but the lights were flickering and it wouldn't run correctly. I'm done trying to fixing the bike, so now its getting parted out. I think there's a short somewhere with a bad battery to boot, but everything else works fine. Engine runs great with about 16k on it since a bottom end rebuild, and about 2000 since a valve job/rings. Motor goes as one piece, will not separate head from bottom end. Everything is make offer. You pay actual shipping for all parts. If you want a whole, non-running bike that might just need a new battery, price is 500 firm. Clean CA title in hand for the frame.
Frame - Clean CA title, registration good until July 2011
Engine - Runs good, doesn't leak or smoke
Swingarm - some scratches, but ok condition
Front and rear rims/tires - tires have about 20% life left, rims are straight but the paint is chipped
Forks/front end - progessive springs, clipons, etc.
Rear shock - Katana 600 bought from new dealer stock about 6 months ago. Maybe 2000 miles on it.
Front/rear brakes - both systems work great, front pads are almost brand new, rear pads have 50% left.
Tank - dented and poorly filled on the right hand side before I bought the bike. Bondo has cracked, but hasn't gotten any worse in the last 2 years.
Seat - no rips or tears. Its the flat style.

Homemade aluminum fairing stay with dual projector headlights. Also have the front fairing to go with it.
Exhaust is an open pipe, but I had to bend it to mount up to the rearset, so no garantee it will fit.

Tires - Dunlops. 1 track day on them.

Chain/sprockets - about 2k on them, stock gearing.
I don't know what other specific parts you guys might want. I would love to just get rid of it as a whole and hopefully someone can get it running again. Currently tank/seat are off so i could look at the electrical a bit, but I can put it back to the below condition in about 10 minutes.
