Post by: importslife on January 18, 2011, 05:54:35 PM
I would say it was around 1989-1991 i remember going to a bike shop in Gainesville Ga, in the bike shop there was a mini bike that was a scaled down street bike it looked just like a real street bike. dose anyone know what im talking about? If so do you know how to look it up?  :dunno_black:

1987-1992 Yamaha YSR-50 also made a tzr50 for non usa
Honda made one also but not many for USA streets NSR50R
suzuki made one 4 stroke 49cc it came free if you bought the GSXR750 RR
in matching colors  also known as a GAG

I have an extra 87ysr in factory red/white... looks almost new(1500ish miles)

I almost bought an NSR50R the other day.  Just seemed like a fun toy..........  Reality got the better of me though and I put my cash back in my wallet.

Hey Werase, how'd that GSXR work out for you?  Ever figure out what was screwed up with the electricals?

A local guy here had one of those mini yamaha 50s. I was in love with it. It was street legal and everything. He didn't ride it much, but I talked to him for a while one night he rode it out to a bike night. If I had one of those things I'd ride it all over the place.
