I have a black, grey and gun-metal GS 500 e for sale in Charlotte, Nc. It runs well, fair tires, new battery and a new-to-it engine (the engine has 6000ish miles on it, the rest of the bike has 16,000 miles. Lights work fine. The turn signals have been tweaked to be a little closer on the front. All the fairings are intacked and attached. Picture the purple/pink/and teal factory 92 with little wear, painted :a base of black, fairings silver and textured gun metal frame. The tires, I never got to- they are still white. One problem- the choke cable is broken, I've just been reaching under to do it by hand. The tank has been treated with kreame.
Fun story, I bought it off a guy that knew how to change the engine, but couldn't get it to start for the life of him. Showed me it ran by spraying engine starter in it... When I got home- the guy had been working on getting it running for two months and the only problem was he had the fuel line going into the wrong value on the carbs.There was only two valves to choose from! i had it running in one night and three beers!
I have its clear title in my hands. For some reason, I can't post pictures on here for the life of me. Shoot me a message and I'll have some pictures ready for you.
I'd like to get rid of it by the end of the month, so make me an offer...
You'd prolly get 2 X if you sold it in april/may. Being in charlotte, I could actually hold it for you and sell it and split it - I dont mean 50-50 either, especially if I dont work on it - I'd lightly use it and sell it in april/may.

Ah buddha, speakers still the recent new obsessions? I'll be transporting the bike to stl if it doesn't sell here for exactly that reason. If you want to buy it and sell it later for a profit, be my guest. I'd be happy with $600

Well speakers are an obsession, however ... the only reason I did more of that than bikes in the last few months was due to injury ...

I did the same thing to this guys's nice beautiful sv650 a few years ago when he moved to germany. In fact I sold it on gstwin ...
The clown that bought it, crashed it on the test drive. Luckily I had got the $ up front. When I asked him if he knew how to ride he said he had taken the msf course. I said, that didn't answer the Question.

Thanks Buddha, I know he's moving soon so I wanted to make sure I at least got a chance to talk to him before he took the bike all the way up to stl.
STL: If that is Seattle - I'll take it when it gets here. If St. Louis, oh, well.
I was actually hoping to pick it up before he leaves, but that of course is contingent on him being able to return my emails before he ships it. I'm in Alabama, so Stl will be a little far for me.
