Hey, I've been a long time gs500 owner but never saw this site before. I was looking for some information and stumbled upon the forum. My GS500 is currently down but it should be back soon, I seem to have done something stupid during an oil change and I blew the engine from oil starvation, I still dont know how it happened but...
I made this video a couple of months ago at a my local track, hope you enjoy it. Sorry, no extreme lean angles, but Dunlop GT501´s arent all that good.

Stefano.
Great videos! Makes me wonder why they even bother to paint lines on the road!
Welcome
Nice vids man. Not a bad intro post.
Thanks, im going to try to get a decent time lapse of the engine build and motorcycle reassembly, should prove for a cool video.
Awesome vids. Great to see how hard the GS's forks work under acceleration/braking. Keep the vids coming :thumb:
Oh and welcome!
Nice video, but I don't know how many times I have heard that song in motorsports videos now.

Yeah, maybe if you weigh less than 130. He even mentions in his comment on the video how bad the stock suspension is and how it causes a loss of traction going into turns.
I weigh around 150 pounds. The stock suspension is pretty bad as redhenracing2 stated, but this is my daily ridden bike and theft is an issue here so I dont have anything fancy on it. I use to have a CBR600 but im in the process of moving back to united states, so im selling everything and just kept the GS500 as an all-arounder.
Sorry about the song, you can never please everyone with musical choices :icon_lol:
