SOLD
I have just bought a 2000 BMW R1100RS, so I am selling my other bikes, including this 1982 GS1100E.
The particulars:
1982 Suzuki GS1100E (Stock Red)
16,700+ miles
Rear tire is almost new. Front tire is older but still plenty good.
Almost new AGM glass mat battery maintained on Battery Tender.
Progressive Front Springs installed. I have original OEM springs too, if you want them.
Slipstream windshield installed.
I will include a Windjammer fairing with bracket which I use in cool weather touring.
Nelson-Riggs Tank bag with 12V outlet inside (mounted on quick disconnect for easy bag removal).
A very nice throttle lock.
Brakes are good, and brake fluid has been flushed regularly.
I will include Fieldsheer saddlebags for touring.
Bike is road-worthy as is. I have put 8K miles on the bike in the last three years, including two long distance road trips in 2009 (NM-CO) and 2010 (AR). This is a classic naked sport bike which handles VERY well and is VERY quick.
I am a conscientious home mechanic and have maintained the bike well.
Cosmetically, the bike is a B+ but it runs very well. There is some paint damage from the saddlebags on the rear body work. There is a Duplicolor touch-up paint which matches this color almost exactly and they could be touched up easily.
Price is $1900. The bike is in Weatherford, OK.

Off topic bump
Is the Pentax K100D really that good using just any lens or are you using some high quality lens?
Sorry dude, didn't see your post!
I'm using a Tamron 18-70 zoom. But it really is a great camera. I saw a head-to-head review where it dusted the comparable Nikon in image quality. But lenses are expensive and harder to find.
If I could talk my wife into letting me have another motorcycle I would be all over that. I think a 1982 GS1100E in red is the perfect bike ever made. I had one that was the champagne color, but I always liked the red better.

There is a champagne one on ebay right now for over $4000. This one is a bargain. You know you want it...
This thing handles great, accelerates great, and turns me into a younger man. I'll even repaint the tail section for you!
