Great flying..pilot really understands prop generated airflow. And dontcha love the tundra/bush tyres...can land ANYWHERE on them!!! Now, lets see, how can we get a set onto a GS500...

indeed. would love to see that set up,wiht a bunch of upper tier cars in a horseshoe shape where the pilot sets it down past the first ones WITHOUT hitting the last oens. then again, these are pilots not stunt bike riders, stakes are a tad higher. but still this is EPIC skill

Enjoying yamahonkawazuki's introduction to STOL flying? Have a squiz at some punters having more STOL fun at:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuE2cW8NMx8

The tail-draggers have a flying tail that generates lift in the prop blast. The orange, experimental got its wheels off in. what, maybe 30 feet? Unfortunately, the last landing would have been very expensive.

Then there's the team from United Indian Missions Aviation wing doing STOL for real South of the Border at:

http://vimeo.com/6416958

Beautful video with a nice technical component.

These type of STOL aircraft have the same attraction for me as the GS500.....simple, rugged, understandable technology that works.....enjoy.

I dunno....that looked like a stoppie at the end of that landing. Maybe they are stunters lol.

WWW.airgasm.com (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvNwiczJ69k) lol editing hyperlinks works :D :thumb: i had it set as something far dirtier, but changed it. anyhoo its a c5a short take off. far longer than the bush pilots, BUT ths plane is prolly 200 times heavier too
