I was hit like that just my bike was a lot better off. I feel his pain. If that was a dude im sure he would have decked him.

why would you hit him? what does that accomplish? It was inattention and laziness, but hardly seems malicious.

ouch! I always keep checking my mirrors and tap the break light so people can see me. No reason to flip out since no one was hurt and driver wasn't a jerk, insurance will buy you a new bike and give you some extra cash for gas money and mods if you have an attorney  :thumb:

There were witnesses too.. If it was me I would claim injury, and have an ambulance come, then sue the pants off of them. I actually just missed an accident in the cage today due to a couple of jackasses not paying attention. One was smoking and talking on the phone and merged over on top of the other, the person who was getting merged on changed lanes *really quickly without looking or signaling* luckily I saw this coming before I came up beside the second person and got on the brakes.. but it frustrates me to no end that people drive with their heads up their asses.

So if someone pointed a gun at you and pulled the trigger but missed you and only hit the fuel tank of your bike, which blew up, and he "wasn't a jerk", you wouldn't be upset because you didn't get hurt???

That driver wasn't a jerk, she was a complete f**khead who shouldn't be allowed to ride a bicycle, let alone drive a car. Driving IMHO is a full time job, not something you do between phone calls, looking at shop windows or doing your makeup.



And no, that wasn't a rant...don't get me started! :laugh:

And this is precisely why I do not ride next to other vehicles. I ALWAYS assume they might just instantly come into my lane, in which case, I want to be Where on the road in my lane? Slightly behind them so I can see them in their side mirror or even further than that. Sure it means cars often will take this is an invitation to change lanes to try to get an extra car length ahead. But I ain't in any rush to get anywhere - not to work, not to home from work, not anywhere, not even if I am already running late. My sense of urgency is zero.

the location of peoples heads will not change. cars are too safe.

My last trip on Flick in a rush bought me six weeks of crutches and two months of PT. Not even going to state how much in Dr. bills. But, hell after the chopper ride this week that's nothing!

i still want to kick your ass over that, ( not actually but, ehh, stll. we like having you around ehre mary. gotta stay well, and preferably uninjured. your health will improve faster if you keep your body not injured. , yeah like i should talk, kidneys shutting down etc. im last person who should tell anybody top be careful. EMS @ house again todaybut mary please do whatever you must to not be hurt, please?
