Hey guys,
I ordered the Dynojet kit, but that's not where the issue is...
I can't get the screws off of the top of the carbs that hold the caps on.
I've tried every screwdriver, drill, impact driver... everything!
Do you guys have any ideas? Tips?
The screws are stripping worse and worse, I have no idea how to get them out without drilling them out... Any advice will be helpful

on mine i had to use a small set of vice grips to break them loose.

You are on the right track. Since they are partially stripped now, you may as well drill them out. As for why, it is because you were using the wrong screwdriver. The ones on your carbs are JIS screws, not Phillips.
grab with vise-grips and put new ones in
Thanks guys, the vise grip idea worked... It was just hard to get a grip on a few of them, I had to use vise grips on the flood bowl screws too...
I think I created a whole new issue though, When drilling out the plug for the idle air screw, I went a little too far on one of them and drilled through the screw, if I don't set one of these, what will happen? I was able to adjust the one for the other carb fine. Please don't tell me I'll have to buy a new carb!

Also, where can I get a .128 jet? Seems only one was supplied with Dynojet kit... I had a 120,120,124,124,128,132
What the ... air screw drilled through - OK you gonna need one of those ... no way the bike will even run without it.
I may have one, have to look, 05 ... ok I may have an 89-00 if its same as 05 ...
Now the 128 jet ... DJ crap is renumbered whatever ... and you got 1 jet WTF are they doing selling 1 jet.
Anyway ... I'd try 127.5, close enough, I got those - wait ... no not for an 05. K get a 127.5 and try it. Or try the stock 130.

The stock mains you should already have ... else I've got em rescued from the various carbs that I have gone through ...
Air screw I'll have to find. How about I find it this evening, and you send me say $7 after I do and you get the 130 mains and the air screws.
BTW I sell a whole jet pack for the GS, takes a lot of BS out of jetting them.

Actually, just contacted Suzuki, they're sending me the Idle air screw assembly, I just got to figure out a way to get it out of the hole.
As for the jets, should I try to use the .124's supplied in the kit? I would try to run it and see what it does, but kind of scared to with the idle air screw messed up.
Get a small - like a 1/8th left handed drill and drill it out. Remember the bolt is cold forged and machined to tolerance steel. The body is cast aluminum. The bolt is several times harder than the body. Be very very very careful. If you dont have steady hands do not attempt it, if you dont have the right tools - get them. You need left thread so it will back out as you drill and the drill bites, so do not attempt it with a regular drill bit. You dont want to drive that thing deeper into the carb body, its tapered and it will easily sink in and spread the hole and ruin the carbs, or atleast you'd have to set each air screw differently, like one @3 and one @1.
