I work at pepboys and those are electric this is gas much better IMHO
Ahh didn't look that close I'm a poor student so $200 turned me the other way LOL!

the brushless ones are good. but i like the sound of nitro rcs.
this ceom with teh radio?
Yeah, had the bug to play with something RC so pulled out the Air Hog chopper and chased the cat with it. That is until MegaPaw (Akasha's alter ego) slapped it out of the air and into the wall I figured she was done playing LOL.

I would love to have a gas powered RC car someday. Definitely looks like fun :icon_mrgreen:
it is ready to run just add batteries and gaas and go. I always had electrics but never gas so this should be fun and I love having replacment part when needed. the electrics I had fom ebay parts were hard to find and I usually had to modify and make my own.
How many CCs is the engine? I've always wondered how they could make something that small. Those pistons must be adorable. Is it a single cylinder engine?

thats what the engines look like for nitros. the cc i think is 2.5 if im not mistaken. they are 2 stroke engine and they have an addition of a supercharger for like 140. that would be a quick rc car or sub for an all alluminum frame and sus.
Did some googling... RC V12 haah

Buy a bunch of these and have a 256 cylinder GS500!
well the most i have seen people do is add 2 motors one for the front and one for the rear both engine linked together so when you give on gas the other goes too a great 4 wheel drive system.
I've had cen and traxxas and I'll be honest the traxxas was more durable and easier to work on but the cen would kick the traxxas a$$ all day. I ran a nitro sport 1.5 a t/max 2.3 and 3.3 and a 4tec 3.3 (holly crap that was hard to control) in the traxxas nitro and a slash vlx in the electric and a cen talon NX 3.0. Now I just run the nitro sport and my heli. I be I've rebuilt the notro sport 1.5 engine half a dozen times. But I honestly love running that little truck and it gets a lot of use. rear wheel drive and it'll slide through a turn and straighten up and run right out of it every time.
Super buy! Good luck with the 3.3 and even if it's already broke in run her easy for a little while and find out what fuel was used before and stick with that %.
the seller said he uses 15% and had good luck with it he tried 20% but permormance dropped a little so Ima go with 15 I guess and see what happenes. I box is at my house as I type but since im out of town cant play right now even tho next door from me has some good dirt jumps.
You can change fuel but take the carb back to the stock settings and retune. Only down side its that the 15 and 20 will wear the engine a little different. as long as a good break in was performed you can switch but just dumping 20 into a rig set up for 15 yeah it'll run like the back tires are filled with lead and just lag in the low an top end . mid throttle will feel good but it'll likely be running lean.

takes all of 15 minutes to overhaul them. ( about 10-15 hours of run time), just reassemble them the exact same way they came apart ;)
