Title: Black OEM Chin Fairing (aka Belly Pan) for sale
Post by: thomasbien on March 02, 2011, 06:18:20 PM
SOLD

For sale is the OEM chin fairing from my former bike, a 1996 GS500E.  The fairing is black and in very good condition.  It is original with no repairs.  The fairing is nicely waxed and shiny.

Included are the four OEM mounting brackets with stainless steel bolts.  Two of the mounting brackets have been repaired with welds and are just as functional as original.

$140 plus buyer pays actual UPS shipping.

Please PM me with any questions.

No one bought it?
I suppose I could take it (but somehow I feel an "intervention" looming in the near future)

I don't see why it's unsymmetrical, especially with the shorter side on the left. If anything I would think the exhaust would be whats in the way, but it's on the right . . . .

Yep - that's the way they are. You can see what it looks like by searching for photos of Junior. He has one. There are photos from the left and the right side.
Oh, I bought it. Never can have too many parts. I need to paint one candy antares red for Junior.
I do have some non-Suzuki ones I'm going to sell (including a Gimbel belly pan and headlight cowling).
