I'll preface this by saying that I [obviously] haven't looked REAL closely at it.
I found a kit online to lower the footpegs on a GS. As my legs are really, REALLY long, it sounds like an awesome swap to make. It'd obviously lose some cornering clearance, but I'm not exactly dragging my knees anyway.
So I was looking at it while taking the bike apart this weekend, and I don't see how it would work. The shifter is obvious; loosen the collar nut, rotate the lever to where it needs to be, and retighten...no biggie.
But is there someone to similarly adjust the position of the brake pedal? Someway to rotate it down to position it where it would need to be if the pegs were lowered? Or would I be stuck with the peg so low that I'd have to pick up my foot to get to the pedal? :dunno_black:

How much is that kit to lower the footpegs? Switching to the GSXR pegs you can get on ebay gets you probably about an inch of leg room without losing any corner clearance. The pegs are just much skinnier than stock so you only gain the leg room from not having an inch of rubber on top of the peg.
