Title: New 2008 GS500F from Minnesota!

GStwins... What a great site!  :thumb:

I get to pick up my brand spankin new blu/wht  2008, on Sven Patrick's Day. It was a leftover & I got it for $3400. I haven't even drove it, yet cause the weather was too cold. I know I will love it. I had a Zero Gravity installed for more comfortable touring. Love the look! I will post pics, when I figure how to do it, with my mobile phone.
I have been riding for 40 yrs. My last bike was a 1700 Roadstar. I had it for 2 years, then decided it was overkill for what I needed. This GS500F is just what I really need. The excellent mpgs, zip and bulletproof reliability are perfect. Being easy to service doesn't hurt, either. I try to do as much as I can, myelf. I ordered a Haynes manual.

Lookin forward to joinin the clan. I'm pumped!  :woohoo:

Ahh, a man after my own heart!  Welcome aboard.  Another vet who understands what overkill means.
