Well you can thank this guy -

Hmmm...loafers with socks, shirts, no shirt on a stretched sports bike. Anyone smell calamari?
Why does he bother with the helmet?
Haha, I've never wondered, it's pretty obvious. I try to be a good example but I doubt it barely even makes a dent in the reputation we've got.
Give the guy a break. He's just trying to get a tan. :icon_mrgreen:
I don't know about motorcycle riders...but he's definately making shirtless idiots in white shorts and loafers look like d*ckheads :D
Why does he bother with the helmet?
It's obvious to me...he cares about his safety. :icon_rolleyes:
Maybe his family has stated that they wish for him to have an open casket ceremony? :dunno_white:
im a pro helmet person. even if in a place where its not required, if they choose not to well thats their choice . as long as i dont have to pay for tehir injuries. BUT in this case, the guy is wearing in essence nothign protection-wise. why bother wearing a helmet? he got off EASY on this one. BUT had it been worse, his body would have been hamburger meat, but his head flawless, then he would have been able to read his own "woe-is-me" thread on whatever forum he subscribes to. first glance the person looked like a female lol
I've been looking everywhere for that one. I saw it ages ago and wanted to paste it but didn't know what to search for "Bike hitting back of van" didn't bring me any luck.
Thanks. Watch closely and the cruiser guys are laughing :icon_mrgreen:

Here is another. Vacant carpark? Eff no! I'll find the busiest one I can and show my skills -

I know it's probably cold of me, but I sort of enjoy watching retarded douchenozzles hurt themselves doing stupid shaZam!. Bike crashes are horrible (we've had a few fatalities locally in the last month or so), but guys like these deserve it.
We really need some chlorine for the gene pool.

i honestly agree. yes its cold BUT if someone is going to do stupid shaZam!. they deserve it. accidents OTOH no. but stoppies on a busy street or whatnot. well i will clap. i will help them get bike up and help them out medically, but will not go easy on them, kinda like beavis " whoa that was COOL heh heh heh mmm heh heh!" i did finally get my revenge on that jackwagon that hit me wiht a box truck tho. 5 years later lol, found truck and same owner. i just happened to have 4 bb's in pocket, truck had a load of produce and had 6 flat tires later, tires werent damaged, btu i left a note saying karmas a Buddha Loves You Eh?
That's why it always pays to carry side cutters with you. An uninflated tire can be reinflated. But if the valve stem is cut off, well, whole different story :thumb:
Michael
or just remove the needle from the valve stem. and replace the cover once your done. :icon_twisted:

Don't forget to add the red loctite to the valve stem cap :flipoff:

Add this guy to the list - Nah man...I do my stoppies on blind bends...all the cool kids are doing it.

Love the drivers form too lol.
As big of a dork as the rider was, the driver needs to be beaten for fleeing the scene.

So you're driving you car, the Bikie in front does a stoppied and you push him over, while over on the side 20 bikies start yelling at you. Um, yeah, I can understand why that person took off.
When some knobhead pulled out in front of the ride leader on our ride and he highsided the bike knocking himself out, by the time I got there (near the tail) the driver was in the middle of the road, hands held up in a "I surrender, please don't hurt me" way. But the look of utter fear on his face as some 20 bikes pulled up was quite memorable. He was sh!t scared.
Michael
I'll have to watch it again when I get home, but it seemed to me that the bikers didn't start yelling at the guy until after he started to leave. :dunno_black:
Why are you all so worried about what car drivers think of motorcyclist?
Why I care because it sets into their mindset that I'm a jerk and I deserve what I get. Just like when people beat up homeless people ( we are dealing with a deputy son punching a homeless guy and the deputies co-workers let him go what they didn't know someone was taping it) just because they are homeless doesn't make them any less human than you. The way a group of people think about another can have lasting effects. WWII for example.
I had my dorkwad moment today. Was pulling into a McDonald's having a hard time finding a parking spot saw one turned left had no idea thatthey put it right on the other side of the drive through! Thank goodness the driver was paying attention I turned around and apologised. When I got off a bunch of kids were standing at the door and they were all like cool bike! I felt bad because they saw my numbskull move.
Mary
What are you going to get and what do you deserve?
I ride a bike because I enjoy it and I don't give a rats bum who thinks of what, how or why I ride. I ride to keep my self alive and if that means upsetting some cage drivers opinion of motorcyclists, well tuff poop. It's not a popularity contest riding a bike, or a reason to win the hearts and mind of the car drivers. You ride how you want and because you want, if that upsets a few car driver, tuff bikkies.

Hey.. good for you :thumb:
I don't think there is anyone who would want to be tarred with the same brush as the numb-nuts in these vids no matter if you don't care what others think.
I sincerly think that that kind of thinking is one that can get you killed. Many times as an EMT I heard "it's just a dumb biker" when instead of my services the rider needed the ME. When my friend Troy got nailed last May (hard to believe it's been a year). The driver in the SUV told the officer " I saw him thought I could make it he's just a biker". Guess a minute was more important than my friend's life. He came out of his coma in October but still paralyzed on his right side and has a hard time focusing for long periods of time due to brain stem injury. They said he was lucky an EMT a combat medic trained person and a paramedic saw the accident or he wouldn't be with us. Troy is a good man happily married his wife stood by him to the point of selling their house and moving the family to Atlanta to give him the best outcome. If that isn't love I don't know what is. While Troy worked on motorcycles he was also a pastor at one of our Spanish churchs and his two kids are awesome.
Stereotyping is dangerous to all involved!

Well said mary. But i think riding like everyone iS going to pull out in front of you, and planning accordingly will keep you alive. idk about acting billy badass,
Well, I do ride like that. Although, I don't know what Troy was thinking on this particular day he doesn't remember either. The woman did pull out onto the farthest lane of the three lanes in 192 (lunch hour very busy cops concluded she could have turned into the second lane SUV radius was small enough). Troy was going 35 actually ten under the limit because he was testing a customer's bike. So maybe he was a little distracted trying to hear what may be wrong. Sometimes as much as you prepare I don't think you can see "everything". Many times my attention will be diverted to the weird antics of the person to my right right when the moron to my left will do something worse! Example guy to the right has his blinker on to come to my lane so I look there while the driver to the left catches my slight slow down to let the other driver in and cuts me off without a turn signal. Happened yesterday when realizing my horn is dying.

go to autozone, and get horn set from a lincoln towncar. works wonders. not far larger than stock. i had fitted my galls siren box to mine. that kicked ass for horns
