Title: DIY Tachometer
Post by: GAS on March 15, 2011, 07:25:20 PM
Hey all,

I don't know if here is the right section to post it. I'm posting here since this tach was made to a yamaha RZ350 (known here as RD350) that was modified into a track bike.

Here is a video of the tach working, if anybody is interested, I can post the diagram. It's still not pretty, but it's only a prototype, since the final project include a shiftlight and a temperature indicator. This bike has also run a few laps on a track as you can see on the second video (fast lap at ~5min).

Please share a how-to with more details (parts, costs, etc etc) and the diagram if you don't mind. Thanks.
