Sold the GS today. Rode it an hour on the highway with my fingers frozen for a miserable last ride to sign the title over. The kid was nice, he's actually a friend of a friend, so I'll probably end up riding with him a few times over the summer. He doesn't have the internet, so I couldn't pass along the forum, but I'm sure if he has any questions he'll let me know and I can pass along the 7 years of forum knowledge I've soaked in. These pictures are from one of it's last rides.

On a positive note, check out how clean that engine is! Cleanest it's been since I got the bike...

Next stop will be a supermoto, KTM 690smc :kiss3: if I'm lucky enough to find one, but most likely it'll be a DRZ. Whatever pops up on craigslist first.
I've got a box of parts I need to go through to list on here, but I'm pretty sure the only good stuff in there is a stock shock, a spare top/bar clamp, service manual, and then a set of clipons, a modified top clamp and new headlight brackets that let you put the clipons under your top clamp. I'll start a new thread for all that stuff when I get some pictures though.
How about a "mint" 1983 GR650? No? I don't blame you.......
Good luck on the next bike TT.
Nudge Nudge

Haha, not even close. Just because Ducati calls something a motard doesn't make it one. I highly doubt that thing would survive down a set of stairs or jumping off of a loading dock.
This is where I'm heading!

I love the buell but I do my best to be nice and take care of it. I want something that's made to take a little abuse.
Look at this thing that just popped up on craigslist today! I'm really tempted. I've always loved those bikes and it's like fate that it was listed a day after I sold the GS. Maybe it'll still be there after 2 weeks and I can get it for like $2700-2800.
