I'm in two minds about selling the bike :cookoo: but I would let it go for the right price. All the usual modifications and more but nothing is permanent... I could just as easily return the bike to 100% standard and sell all the bits separately - but I would rather let it go as a whole package with spares and all original parts (so please don't ask about splitting the bike up just yet!)
UPGRADES since January 2011
• Koso RX-2N Digital Speedometer
• Zero Gravity tinted Sports Touring Screen
• K&N Lunchbox Air Filter (plus K&N Rocker Breather)
• Screaming Demon slip-on Muffler
• Carburetors re-jetted (20/65/145)
• EBC Brake Pads (front & rear)
• Brand new Brake Rotors (front & rear)
• T-Rex Frame Sliders (no-cut)
• Brand new battery (14th March)
• 2nd hand engine installed (20,000km old)
• Full service (NGK plugs, Motul 10W40oil, Genuine Suzuki filters)
• Valve clearances adjusted to spec (Genuine Suzuki new shims & gaskets used)
• Ignition advance modification
• Exhaust painted in VHT heatproof coating
A couple of minor fairing scratches and tank dents on left-side from garage accident (previous owner) but the bike HAS NOT been dropped. Starts first time - every time! Runs smoothly when cruising and has a significant power increase from the modifications. All original parts included in the sale
SPARE PARTS
• Original complete engine (suspect noisy balance shaft)
• Gauges (excellent condition)
• Windscreen
• Airbox and air filter
• Muffler
• Standard carburetor jets
Considering how much the bike was purchased for and how much I've spent (more than I care to admit), I think $5500 (neg.) is a fair starting point.

Wow that was quick. What happened?
Considering a change Twisted... something bigger and possibly more powerful - with an inseam of 950mm, the GS500 is a little small for me.
The Kawasaki Versys seems to fit me a lot better (ready, aim, :2guns:)
Lol, no fair enough. I thought maybe the engine trouble you had turned you off them. I upgraded as well but I still kept my GS as it has been good to me. Good luck with the Versys and post some pics up if you ever get one. :thumb:
Far from it mate - the new engine is unreal! Especially with the K&N and rejet, she really sings!
Thats why I am in two minds about selling it... its a really nice bike!
