Title: rejetting questions...again.
Post by: nsoccer3097 on November 09, 2003, 08:10:22 PM
okay, i've removed the carbs from the bike.  i've also removed the brass plugs from both sides of the carbs.  i have taken off the plastic cap and the float bowls so i have some idea of what it looks like, but i don't know what to ask the local shop for.  i'm putting the k&n pod filter on my 93' and have a yosh exhaust.  the main jets are inside the float bowls right?  with this configuration, i think the census is to use 150 mains.   please, let me know if i'm wrong.  as far as under the plastic caps go, everyone mentions needles and washers.  are the washers under the c-clip or on top?  what size washers?  i think all that's on there now is a white plastic thing under the c-clip and then another plastic doo-hickey on top.  what should go where?  there's also a mention of pilot jets?  i have no clue where these are or if i should be concerned with them?  i've referred to Jeff's rejetting tutorial, but it seems like it's only for stock bikes.  any help is greatly appreciated.

Check out MikeT's site. It has tons of good carb info.

ok, another stupid question.  the hose that connected to the bottom of the air box will need to have a pcv on it?  or the one on top?  anyone know of a size or part number for a pcv?
