I'm only about 2.25 hours away. I don't mind driving over to pick up something, but aside from paying for half of the sawzall I'll also need you to pay for half of a truck.

I'm only a 17 hour flight away from LA. Then it's, oh I don't know, a couple of days driving. So I'll pop right on over shall I?

Rigged! No friggin way Sri Lanka can get to the Final. Has to be Rigged - or they are Channeling past great players Such as... um... well I'm sure they had some, maybe Kepil Dev even though he played for India  :dunno_black: (Yeah, I know Jayurishninissshaaanisha.)

I know what it is. It's Tilakaratne's fault. The other players think his name is To-Lick-Her-Acne and get repulsed by it and lose.

Well... wonder how much muny is getting placed on India to win?

Australia beat Sri Lanka in the 2007 World Cup final and they got beat by England in the 20/20 World cup final in 2009. They are a pretty decent team in the short game.

All in all they're doing better than the Aussies. Hope we start doing better.

You gotta remember these are on Injun wickets. Dust, rocks and oppressive heat are the 12th, 13th and 14th players on our teams.
SL though could be a handful, dust will help spinners and not fast bowlers. As such a very good weapon against non sub continent teams. However vs SL wont help, they have better spinners.
Aus getting knocked out was a surprise even for me though, and pakisthan turned out to be a handful too. SL have had an easy NZ and Eng.

The WTF moment of the tournament is the SA choke vs NZ.
The even bigger WTF moment was England's loss to Ireland after puting up 320 odd.

Now back to the original topic - That buell blast frame is also its oil tank. It could make an interesting project of sorts. Obviously reajcox has first call but if he's not intersted, maybe someone else can post their ideas and the best idea gets one. Best 2 ideas get 1 each lets say. Let em roll guys.

Cool.

aye. all buell frames for teh most part are the oil tanks. would actually like to get a blast frame, with title, get a gs engine or gr650,( basketcase 650 which i sold running to a guy, he let it go to shiite in his yard. i can buy back for 50 what i sold for 500. anyhoo that engine in a blast frame perhaps? or somethign interesting like that. BTW buddha, you remember teh guy here, that had a gixxer 4cyl head/cyls wiht teh 2 end ones removed, and it was put on a gs? who was that?

That only happens if you happen to edge your late cut and it jumps over the keeper and hits that helmet the keeper has left behind him. That is 5 runs.

Yea not one sided at all, though if you think about it, it is. A lot of people look just @ the margin of victory ... like in motorcycle or car racing, if 1 guy is so much better than the pack, usually they's pull a 1 minute lead, then coast to the flag till the rest are just 5 sec behind. A perfectly paced run chase tends to be that way.

Here is the scary thought now though ... after the 83 WC win, India were always prefixed with "world champions" and we got beat black and blue by WI in india, then Lost to pak in pak (which is always rife with ball tampering, pitch tampering and umpiring) and generally had a rough time. Then of course in 85 we won the one in australia, only to slump back till 89 or so when tendulkar and manjrekar made a return.
Cool.
