Title: Suspension & Yoshi = Awesome
Post by: Pelikan on April 02, 2011, 07:31:10 PM
Hey guys, just wanted to talk about some upgrades that I think everyone should look into.  Got the Katana 600 shock + .85 sonic springs installed.  Really, really, (really) awesome.  It feels like a whole new bike.  I also got a rejet and Yoshi slip on.  Again, awesome.  And a 41T rear sprocket...awesome.  Check them out if you're looking to improve a stock GS.

How much was the yoshi slip on? Also where did you get the .85 sonic spring?

The slip on was $265 I'm pretty sure.  Check out ebay for GS500 Yoshimura TRS.

Even after riding the bike for a few weeks, I'd totally do these upgrades again if given the chance.  All worth it.

Get a Katana rear shock if you're upgrading front springs.  I didn't think I'd actually need/want it, but I couldn't imaging the bike without it now, especially with the new front springs.
