My Box of parts is at my brothers house in storage and I won't be going there for a week or so thus was hoping someone could help me out so I could order these soon.

Just started working on the Streetfighter project after taking the winter off, getting ready to mount the foot controls/hangers/pegs and want new lines before I start installing the brake systems.

Thanks

If you look up the parts on the microfiche, the eye-to-eye line length is listed next to the part description, in millimeters.

On front, MC is straight. At caliper, 20 deg?

Why not just get a complete set from HEL? Sounds like you're building from pieces / parts.

Do they sell it for the gs500 or custom made? I might be interested in those if it's stainless steel braided teflon hose.
Edit: Nevermind, found their site.

+1 on the HEL Lines. They come specific for the GS, just pick your year (they have a couple ranges on their site). If you're ordering from the USA site and a colour you want isn't listed but is listed on the UK site or shown elsewhere, just e-mail them and ask. I had to ask for my red lines.

Installed without a hitch, look sharp, and work damn well.

+1 for HEL. I just ordered a front line; customer service is pretty good and the prices are in line with market.

Its better to make them yourself, any line you buy is swaged, its a fast and cheap process for them where they just stamp em out, now that in itself is OK, except if you have a leak or an issue like you crach and break a fitting, you're screwed. With bolted fittings, you buy another fitting for 5 bucks and swap it out.
BTW for the top and bottom, the long 30 degree one works just fine unless you have an 89 bar with fatter katana grips and you haven't got a longer handle tube. Then you need long or short, straight.
Cool.

See, I'd rather have it swaged together and not worry about two extra screw connections in the line. If the line gets wrecked, not sure how much would really be salvagable on a put-together line.

Bar hight can have a huge affect on the line. I used an off-the-shelf GS500 SS line with woodcraft clip-ons. The line ended up being about 8 inches too long. I resolved the issue by re-using a few of the line routing brackets, but it wasn't ideal.

BTW... I just installed a GSX-R front end. I'm going to put my brake setup for sale, along with the rest of the OEM front end, if you're interested.
