Thanks for popping in.

We been following you. All the way to Broome where you traded it in for a DRZ, worked in a bike shop and got a tat. After that, it stopped being a lap on a GS.

Did you acquire another and finish on a GS then?

Michael

Nice blog, Adrian, what a trip, eh? Might be worth editing up the Broome comments a bit, though....some of the content mightn't be up to the overall standard of your excellent road blog...keep up the long-distance riding...cheers.

Welcome Adrian and cool blog. Sounds like you had fun. Bet the skinny old DRZ seat wasn't to comfy though.

Hey Mate,

Thanks so much... yeah it stopped being a lap on a GS500 I'm sorry to say, but if I hadn't started living in a remote area, it would have continued that way.
It was really a great bike and I miss her alot.

Adrian.

Hi Mate, thanks - and I appreciate what you're saying about my Broome comments - I was just writing what I experienced at the time, I make no apologies for being politically incorrect. Everyone who tries to sugar coat the situation in remote parts of Australia, or worse, turn a blind eye, is just contributing to the problems faced there, but I'm not saying you are!!!! Believe me, I wish I could report a different reality to the one I experienced....
