Title: Anyone in Netherlands?
Post by: adidasguy on April 05, 2011, 12:53:44 AM
Well, not bike related but cat related.
Last time I was in Amsterdam I bought some cat treats called Cheezies by Gimpet. There were 400 round cheezies in a container for 8.50 whatever currency.
If anyone is there or in Europe and can get these cat treats, let me know and I'll paypal you funds to buy some and mail them.

How can you not wish he had cheezies instead of mousies?

Is that a maine coon? We had a maine coone but he was bigger than yours, around 30-35 lbs. Would always bring back rabbits until all the rabbits were gone, then it was chipmunks, voles and birds to share with us.

The funny thing is when we had him we got another tuxedo kitten. When the maine coon passed away the tuxedo cat did the same thing when let out. I guess the maine coon taught the kitten how to hunt.

Stitch is a Pixie-Bob. A pacific northwest breed with a naturally knubby tail.

I will be in neighboring Belgium in mid May and again in June with a trip planned into NL, but probably on a Sunday. Unlike UK the shops and supermarkets tend to close on a Sunday but i will look around and if i see Gimpet's Cheezies I'll get some and then we'll worry about getting them to you. I'll probably get some for the Ginger assasin that i share a house with. I don't think I have seen them in UK but I'll check.
I'll be on the bike in May/June so it will have to be managable quantities!

They might be other places in Europe. Just not anywhere in the US. I got them at a pet store I think on a Sunday in an area that had a huge outdoor market. If you can find them - that would be great!

For a people treat, there are "Katzen Tongues" - chocolates shaped like kitty tongues that are really tasty! Cute packaging, too.

Shhh! Don't tell Akasha you get your cats treats from Europe :whisper: She will want them too. Aww, but I love my house panther. She is 13lbs and 23" she's also a Hemingway cat from the keys. Not a lap cat and loves to hunt! Tried to take on a 5' crane one day I'm like damned cat your not gonna win that one I shoved her into the garage and scared the crane off LOL.

I think this is Perfect!

FAIL Even the cat knows this!

If you are not getting it in English, open it up to full screen and click on the U.J. (My flag - but it's red white'n'blue) it's all there and there is a "contact us" button, very oblidging people the Dutch, should not be a problem unless U.S. customs / foodstuff import regs are involved.
