Title: (FOUND) Wanted to borrow: Compression tester in Ottawa
Post by: 5thAve on April 14, 2011, 08:25:42 AM
EDIT:   Found what I was looking for from a fella on VFRworld forum.  Thanks folks.

Anyone in Ottawa, Ontario or the region have a compression tester I can borrow for a bit? I need 10mm thread fittings for my Honda VFR.....

Will consider donating beer or similar substitute to your domicile.   : :woohoo:D

fwiw if you have a harbor freight tools near you I picked up a tester kit for ~$20 and it works great.  I'm not sure if it has the specific adapter you need but there are a few in there.

Thanks. There is no harbor freight in Canada, I think. Near me, the cheap testers don't have the right thread size I need. Rental locations don't have it either. but I did find afriend on a vfr forum that lives near me and I will borrow that one next week. The internets are great.
