I cleaned the carbs a month or two ago and everything seemed great.
Finally nice weather is out so I registered the GS and stuff. First few rides 2 miles to work were perfect.
Then all of a sudden it starts dying after like a half or 3/4 mile.
I'll just be going and then ca-put nothing. It will crank til the sun comes home but not fire over. I try fuel on Prime and Reserve with no luck.
Then a few minutes (5 maybe) it will start up like nothing is wrong and I'll hop on it back to my house and again.
Half mile or 3/4 mile it just dies out.
DOes this sound like something easy or should I just bite the bullet and bring it to a shop?
Next time it happens right away open the gas tank cap - if there is a sucking noise like air is rushing in, then the vent on your gas tank is blocked and causing the problem.
I let my friend ride it for the past few days.
He said he filled it up. I went to the gas station with it and it took 3.1G of fuel. I think it was empty.
