Title: Want to buy after-market exhaust
Post by: gitarooman83 on April 24, 2011, 06:14:23 AM
I have an 09 500f and I'm in the Louisville, KY area.  I'm looking to replace the stock exhaust with something that sounds a little better and is louder.  Let me know if you're selling or what my other options may be.  thanks

I highly recommend going all the way and grabbing the Jardine full system.  Stainless headers, shiny aluminum can, sounds great and is $350 shipped from (http://www.pipecity.com/Search/CategorySearch.cfm/_1/Street/IP/1_4_0_0/ManuID/14/_2/Suzuki/_3/GS500 )  Hard to beat.  It'll require a rejet, but swapping the whole exhaust is (to me) easier than having something welded on.  Plus, If you want to change back it's easy too.

Has anyone ever ordered from pipecity.com?  Is it a reputable place?  How long does the shipping take.

I had my eye on the Jardine full exhaust from day one, so I'm trying to find a place to purchase it.

Thanks!

I got my pipe from Pipecity...they were really helpful on the phone, and got back to me several times to update me on when Jardine was going to produce the pipe I wanted (it was out of stock everywhere, Jardine wasn't making any at the time).  Nothing bad, all good to say about them from my one transaction.

Got a CBR exhaust from them a few years ago with no problem.
