I have an 07 GS500F that due to some fairing damage, has become a naked GS. I've been riding it around for awhile with some cheap autozone dual headlights, but they just don't do the trick. I'm trying to explore my options for replacing these.
I ordered a headlight bucket from an older e model, but can't find the glass or retaining ring for the bulb (without spending a whole lot of money for oe). Any suggestions? I've seen similar universal set-ups on ebay, can anyone testify for the fit or quality of these?
I've seen the dominators, and am considering them, but I'm not sure if I want to go the dual headlight route, or not.
Thanks for the help.
If you want a stock naked bike set up put a post up in the for sale section, I'm sure someone has an old headlight assembly hanging around they would sell cheap.

I like the F headlight on a naked GS:

I have a Stk. complete round unit off a 1995 GS500E model, some minimal pitting/surface rust...If your interested I could post a few pics of it...However, I have no clue what a fair price would be for the complete unit?

PM sent.
What's an Stk?? I hope it's not your abbreviation of the word "stock" because by capitalizing the s and putting a period at the end, you still had to press the same exact number of keys as it would've taken you just type the word stock, not to mention you wouldn't have had to listen to my ramble on about this. :icon_mrgreen:
If you do get something off of ebay, I would avoid most of their universal "streetfighter" headlights. They're cheap and completely underpowered. They're not actually made for a bike that's going to be ridden. They're pretty much just something for kids with stunt bikes to strap onto the front of their bike to make it appear legal, even though all the auctions will tell you the headlights aren't DOT approved.
