Post by: 96gs on November 11, 2003, 04:44:47 PM
yep. and i have a big x-mas list. my total is about 1200 bucks. i want the gsr fairing. saw it in a post and loved it. a new gel seat a k&n filter and sinraths new handle bars. its actually 1100 but i had to figure in tax and shipping so i guess 1100 to 1200 bucks. this sucks to i have no job and i dont know anywhere i can get money. oh well i guess ill just have to do some work at other peples houses for bout 5 years to get this stuff. so who cares bout me, what goodies ya'll want for your gs?

I'd be happy with a new paint job, but i wouldn't be able to enjoy it. I'm leaving the states for about 9 months after christmas. And i can't take my bike =(

my x-mas list includes but is not limited to   :

Progressive springs
Some 40 size pilot jets
Riding Pants
Better Riding gloves
TRACK TIME (but of course there are no tracks that i know of around here, so again, i get the short end of the stick)

Oh and an R6, but i dont thing santa's bag, or me are ready for that yet

BTW, if you have a bike, and can ride it. You dont need a Job, just mow the lawn once and awhile for the $5 you need to fill the tank to ride 100 more miles. Jobs take up too much time, i work part time, and go to school the rest of the time, and i always happen to be inside when its nice out  :nana: HAVE FUN WHILST YOU STILL CAN!!!  :thumb:

I want my 600cc Sportbike for cheap for christmas!

Watkins Glen is about 1.5hours south of you Briliu but dont think they do motorcycle track days.

Other one closest is in Wampum, PA 4hrs or so away but its a new place and hear its real nice. Called Beaver Run.

Pocono is also 4 hours away in long pond, pa

And rounding out the 4hr our drive track is Nelson ledges, one of the track day groups is based out of there but I hear its a real rough track and not too nice. Its in Warren, OH

Closer still is going to Canada to Mosport at 3hrs away in bowmanville, Ontario

Or Shannonville Motorsports park 4 hours away in belleville Ontario.

Seems like 4 hours is your lucky number!

What do I want for x-mas, that is a good one.  My freedom, my family together for the holiday and my gs running.  Small list, but I don't know if I will be able to make it on all 3 things.  Time will tell.

not sure what i want for xmas.

i already gave myself a present with teh canon a70 that i got last week. I probably get my tyres before christmas too.

So i dont know... what i would want for christmas for the bike. Maybe all i really want is get teh jets, teh k&n and the exhaust, valve job and general maintance done by chistmas.. so i can ride her down for the holidays.

What I want for Christmas.... Hmmm....

1. To not be in Iraq
2. To not be in Kuwait
3. To be in my home, not just the states
4. New 600/750 crotch rocket.(thinking FZ6?)
5. To put all the things I have at home waiting for the gs on it.
6. Track School
7. Track time

Hmm...  'bout sums it up, at least the attainable stuff.  Could add stuff like Ferrari Enzo, Saleen S7, Ducati 999R...

I'm not asking for much.
I'd like the name of a good bike painter in my area, and some space in my garage so I can work on the bike over the winter.

Oh, and I think a FZ6 would really fit nicely under the tree

I grew up with a Sears tree that was solid as a rock, heavy, and so old the branches weren't color coded, or the apint had worn off. It did NOT go up until the first weekend in december. Yes it was my job as a kid and took hours, then i had to put the lights up on the outside of the house. Every year i appreciate thanksgiving more and more. I come from a double digit sibling family and we are now pretty spread out, so Turkey day is more opportunity to see those who might not be around during Christmas.
I want a Cobra F1R exhaust for Christmas, that's it. My bike is like brand new so i really am not over the ooogleing yet. My girly already got me a really nice pair of....drumroll....Stereo Speakers!    (Just as Good)They came UPS while she was at work last week.  I hid them in the closet as per her instructions.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
