The bike has a small history with gstwinners from the NC area. T-shirt racer, werase643, Roadstergal and me have all played a small/big part in it.
Its got upgraded everything. What it doesn't have on it, I got in a box probably, tons of extras. Some/all of its problems and design flaws have been sorted out.

FI water cooled V twin. Come on guys you know everything there is to know about one of these. Like an SV650 but more of it ...

Cool.

The DL, yes...SV, not so much...too leaned forward for me...I'm still trying to decide what I really want out of my bike...comfort seems to be the biggest factor, but extra power without giving up too much range is a close second...so for me it is still Bandit or V-Strom...

Just keeping the GS until I figure it out...Demo Dayz is coming here in two weeks, then maybe I will get to try a V-Strom...

Yea a DL is a cool bike. However an SV1K is IMHO the logical step up form a GS ... with everything upgraded and keeping all the good attributes of the GS - twin, torque etc etc ... well an SV650 is, but I call that more of a 1/2 step ... an adult sized step from the GS lets say. I've ridden the old sv650, it pretty much felt more like a katana than a GS. This thing feels like nothing else - a TL maybe, never rode a TL, but otherwise, its a unique beast.
Cool.

Well, maybe I should go over and snag his bike for a test ride...I just see the forward lean on the bike and thought of holding my weight up all the time...the lean angle is the same as the Hayabusa...and so is the leg room...

Thanks Buddha...now you've added another bike to my list... :flipoff: :icon_mrgreen:

I know his has aftermarket cans and a power commander...not sure if it is dyno tuned or just a download...
