Saw the news and was hoping no one on the forums was hurt in the massive Tornado that swept across SE USA. So far reported 284 dead! Wow :icon_eek:

There were supposed to be tornadoes in the Eastern part of the US too. I'm glad they didn't hit Maryland hard.
one passed an 8th mile away from home. blew some shiite down. flooded basement. i pumped it out as best health would allow. that was round 1. 2 hours later another one and rainsotrm too. hits, again basement floods, again i pump it out. got roughly 4 inches of rain total. but 8" accumulated in basement

there was one, a few weeks back, that hit my hometown about half a mile from my parents house. i believe only one person lost their life in that one. it was on the lower income side of town, and Many homes were demolished.
one of the recent tornado's hit my boss' home town. 4 are confirmed dead, i think 30 still missing.. he's been without power since it hit. there's a downed tree that took out some power lines and is blocking the main road to his house. the damage must be extensive since the tree was still down this morning.
