WTF, it looks like flour, like when you make a cheesecake base with crumbs - flour and butter mix. Crap.

So, what you do, just put it back on the bike and hope is washes out ?  :icon_mrgreen: :icon_mrgreen:

That is water ... wait a couple years and it will turn into a nice green rock like these carbs I got soaking. I would gently scrape it with a soft metal bristle brush ... which I would on the green goo, if I could find my metal brush ...
Yea find why you got water too ...
Cool.

Water: that ethanol in the gas these days. The water separates from the alcohol so if you had gas sitting for a long time and did not use any gas additives to rid you of that - yep - you had water. Thank politics and the government for putting alcohol in the gas. It uses more energy to make that than you get out of it and drives up food prices.

OK - not to advertise it but here is some useful from Eastwood. Buy ANY additive to get rid of the water.

What can I do to protect my vehicle?

Eastwood's Fuel Guard additive system prevents the harmful effects caused by Ethanol and prevents corrosion, gumming and resin build-up. Use Fuel Guard Protection formula with every fill-up and Fuel Stabilizer formula for storage up to 12 months

    * Prevents Ethanol Phase Separation and the harmful impact of Ethanol blended fuels
    * Stabilizes Ethanol-blended fuels
    * Prevents corrosion in the fuel system
    * Helps remove water
    * Keeps stored fuel fresh for easy starting
    * Protects against gum & resin build-up
    * Prevents clogged carburetors, injectors, filters & fuel lines
    * Compatible with all 2 & 4 stroke engines
    * Contains no harmful alcohol or hydroscopic additives
