1300cc cruiser should be able to handle the interstate.

Looks great, but I think it should sit just a little lower and it would be perfect!

Sharp looking bike, but not the most comfortable...go sit on one...it may fit you better than me, but there is a hump at the front of the seat that kinda doesn't agree with my anatomy...

Later.

Would a single rotor up front be sufficient on a cruiser this size? I know the GS has only one but it doesn't weigh as much as a cruiser.  :dunno_black:

...well, considering that a 650 cruiser, a 650-turbo standard, and a 500 sport/standard have no problem "handling the interstate" I'm damned if I know what you need 800 more ccs for, other than wasting gas and making it weigh too much. I'm fairly sure that a 350 in good tune has no problem with the interstate, but I haven't actually tried that one yet, as the last DR350S I looked at was very optimistically priced.

As for making payments, there's no better way to stay poor than buying crap you can't afford and making payments on it. Cripes, if you want an overweight cruiser, buy a Harley - at least you can get your money back out of it when you're done.

I have no bills, just paid off my car an owe about $2k in credit with 0% interest... Getting a new bike without worrying about maintenance would be nice, thats all i'm saying.

Buying a new bike without worrying about maintenance OR payments would be really nice.

Save up the cash, then go buy it.

(actually my rule is: save up until you have cash to buy two plus two months pay in bank, then go buy it.) (oh and pay off all debts first, or have extra money so you 'could' pay off the debts first)  (some day my rule will be to have a year's pay, plus cash to buy two of something, then buy it.)

{I know it is boring advice}

Look at where the footpegs and brake pedal is. I can't imagine that a normal human can ride this thing.

OK, now what in the world is this thing right where your naughty bits are located? Are you supposed to put it in there or what does it do?

Not worrying about maintenance is a short route to repair city, where the streets are paved with gold from your pocket. The window of reduced maintenance on a brand new bike (from it being brand new) is small. In fact there's a bit of extra maintenance to break it in properly. The $$ penalty for buying it brand new is large, and the $$ penalty for ignoring maintenance because it's new is also large.

gs500e's "boring" rules will stand you in good stead. Whether or not you are paying interest on it, you're at least $2K in the hole. Running a positive balance, and not blowing it all on anything so you maintain a positive balance *even when you buy stuff* is a good place to get to.  Try taking what you have been spending on car payments and dumping it into savings for a while (or dump 90% into savings if you just have to spend some of it.) If you keep from spending it, it adds up nicely.

So you drop your package in the hole WTF? Surely that can't be safe for a Drag bike.  :dunno_black:

If you tried to ride that on anything but perfectly flat road wouldn't the belly pan drag?

It's a drag racing concept bike. The position of the pegs is definitely something else but if you're only gonna be on it for 10 seconds I guess it's all the same.

I think it is preservation of the species...if you are stupid enough to ride this thing, it is guaranteeing that you won't be breeding... :icon_twisted:

Even it the "hole" doesn't rip 'em off, the carbon fiber seat will mash 'em to the other side of your body... :cookoo:

Later.
